CLIENT FOCUS & EXPERTISE
Over the years in private practice, Ms. Yang has worked with patients from different ethnic backgrounds. In addition to Western clients, she sees clients from many countries all over Asia including Korea, Indonesia and India.

She has worked with Chinese from varying backgrounds including those born in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, SE Asia and the US.  Bi-cultural issues affect every Asian in the United States and because traditional Chinese and American values are so vastly different, clients who want to integrate the two come to see her.

Her therapeutic practice includes work with individuals, couples and families. She helps to further understand those clients in American-Asian marriages and families. She has presented papers and workshops on cultural issues in a variety of contexts including the 2007th annual American Psychological Association Convention in San Francisco.

ASIAN CULTURE CONSULTANT & EDUCATOR
Another valuable service Ms. Yang provides to professionals is as a consultant with special expertise in Asian culture, especially Chinese, American culture, and psychoanalysis. She has taught, supervised and consulted with both Easterners and Westerners.
